5) Introduction
Solid rigid casing centralizers are suitable for deviated wells and horizontal wells, to help center the casing in the wellbore, allowing even distribution of the cement around the casing during cementing operations.
Rigid centralizers are built out of solid steel bar or cast iron, with a fixed blade height and are sized to fit a specific casing or hole size.

c. High tensile and yield strengths.
d. Available with straight or spiral blades.
e. Helps ensure positive centering in deviated or horizontal holes.

g. Provide a guaranteed standoff and function as bearings during the pipe rotation.

a. The teflon coating protect the surface of centralizer.

8) Installation
Rigid centralizers can be installed on the casing with stop collars or with integral set screws. Installations that allow casing rotation and reciprocation are preferred because of improved displacement efficiency. Most slip-on rigid centralizers must be installed between stop collars and are freely floating there between.
